Designed for riders who want maximum efficiency and fast response, this mast features an ultra thin profile that is around twenty five percent slimmer than the standard AF80 FD mast, combined with a noticeably shorter chord. The result is almost zero drag, quicker lift into foil and a smoother, more effortless glide once you are flying. The Ultra High Modulus mast uses an advanced monocoque construction with the motor pod seamlessly blended into the mast about eighteen centimeters above the baseplate. This placement creates the ideal balance for assisted takeoff while keeping the pod high enough to stay clear when you are up on foil. With an eighty centimeter ride height, it is perfectly suited for assisted prone surf and downwind foiling with very low battery consumption.
